Hi, my name is Jia - the creator and main force behind au+c. I was born and raised in Beijing, spent my late teens and early 20s in the UK and got both of my undergrads and postgrads degrees in E-business. After that I moved to Vancouver and got a degree in fashion design. Then I was lucky enough to be able to work in the fashion industry in Beijing, styled some of the well-known celebrities and interviewed face to face with some of the most well-known CEOs and Creative Directors of the leading luxury brands in the world.
Despite all my passion for fashion and styling, I always love jewelry since I was a little girl. Growing up I remembered my grandma used to always wear her jade bangle and her ruby ring. I think jewelry to me is not just an accessory, it is more like a highlight of your personal style, it tells a story of who you are as an unique individual.
In 2018 with only 5 rough design ideas I founded au+c. I wanted to create something that's minimal, timeless but also versatile. I wanted to encourage more people to try and discover more ways of wearing jewelry. There are no boundaries and no rules of who should or shouldn't wear any style. Jewelry is meant to be enjoyed by anyone and everyone✨
And now we carry close to 300 different styles of jewelry in a wide price range, I hope everyone can find something here that suits their personal lifestyles.
